Aren't all Cargo Boxes the same?

People ask me all the time what features are the most important when renting a Cargo Box? At www.CargoBoxRentals.com we have analyzed many Cargo Boxes and the features that we consider the most important is Dual-Side Loading and Box Length.  The 2013 Thule Force is an example of a Cargo Box that has Dual-Side Loading capabilities while the Thule Pulse and Thule Sidekick are Single-Side Loading. The second most important feature is Cargo Box length. If the box is too long for the vehicles roof line the box will improperly hang over the front window and interfere with rear hatch opening.  The Thule Atlantis model for example is 74 inches in length which is perfect for SUVs with short roof lines.  The Thule Ascent and Thule Evolution come in at 76 inches in length. The Thule Atlantis, Thule Ascent and Thule Evolution have been discontinued and are no longer being manufactured. The 2013 Thule Force is 65 inches in length and was made especially for SUVs with short roof lines which provides the proper spacing for rear hatches.
